3d valentine project

Hello Friends,
This is my another post after a long time, since I am maintaining my page on FB, I hardly get time to keep this blog updated. Here comes my Valentine project which is actually gift to my husband too.
I have used half of the oval from kinder joy to make this 3D project in shadow box kind of display.

Here are the pictures...

I have used handmade flowers and few mini rose buds from my stash, I used heart with wings and a sentiment "Be mine" which I tried to emboss with gold powder but it had lot of black pigment so it could not come out as I wanted. I used arrow and wooden heart button too at the top. I used gesso and homemade texture paste with some micro beads for back and front of the oval...
Used mists I made using Lindy's mica powders..
I used a plastic base that came as a part of kinder joy mini toys to make it stand nicely.
Hope you all like it..
